Niigata Connected

Niigata Encyclopedia

Niigata-ken that spend a lot of time connected to the internet are digital-adapters and if they are born in it they are digital-natives with generation-z being called the first of the digital-natives or ``New humanity'' ``Yutori generation'' ``Satori generation''... Those connected to the Internet and use the phone all the time are looking at social media, internet sites, and messages before actually and unlikely looking for something in person. Global awareness is heightened with the internet covering any topics that go viral on social media and interests are on all sorts of things all over the globe and things in Japan are compared with other things all over the planet and makes a demand for diverse content high. Nowadays, every elementary school student has a smartphone, and their lives themselves are centered around Social Networking Services (SNS).

I think the reason people have a deeper understanding of gender and other issues is because we live in an era where we can connect with anyone. Those who spend a lot of time online determine themselves from their physical surroundings and digital surroundings and who they are is from what persons are surrounding the person and even more conscious of how they are perceived quicker than ever, instant feedback that is good and bad and ugly, so focus can be difficult with people all over the world knowing what you do the mistakes and the mile stones. The ideas that are always occuring are
``I don't want to be disliked, `I don't want to be rejected, and I'm concerned about what others think. Where the social rules of society would mask a persons real thoughts the internet has made people talking about a person to expose their real self. This means there is no society fake face, because people know how different people are from each other online in addition to real life, and this has become normal to internet users in Japan.

Seemingly Perfect lives and Status has gone down as people have every flaw talked about and every part of their life exposed like their real status socially and financially. Because it is impossible to keep up the image of perfection people who are connected to the internet tend to learn to respect "Pursuits of Perfection", but prefer "Truth of Life", because those who don't tell their story will be criticized by a large number of unknown people for each action and word said offline as well as online. This is why people see numerous stories, outbursts, apologies, and letters on social media, because peoples lives are an ongoing story online to no longer just family and friends or coworkers. Even if someone does not connect to the internet their stories are being told by other people, so there is no way to escape judgement from the internet. There are so many mistakes people make in their lifetime, so many people skew stories about the person, and there is the media story that sometimes changes the story that perfection is very far from internet users mind in Japan. Being truthful can convey the message without misunderstanding if it is from the person themself, but if its from anywhere else it can be one sided story or deranged story. True Figures are popular and continue to gain more popularity due to their relatability of not being perfect, so because of this: streamers, podcasts, and people who are not famous having discussions has become very important.
